The change of serum Adiponectin according to acute exercise
ABSTRACT
Lee, S.H., Kang, H.S. The change of serum Adiponectin according to acute exercise. Exercise Science, 16(1): 47-56, 2007. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of two programs, one of 50% intensity walking and the other of 85% intensity running, on body composition, blood lipids and adipocytokine in healthy six mans. measured variables were Anthropometric variables (i..e., body weight, body mass index, percent body fat), cardiopulmonary fitness, blood variables(blood lipids, adipocytokine). blood is gathered at before, after, after 24h between exercise program in All subjects. The changes of Anthropometric variables between exercise program were effective in reducing body weight, Body mass index. blood lipids variables were effective in TG and HDL-C. and also blood Adipocytokines were effective in HMW(High Molecular Weight) Adiponectin, IL-6, Leptin. Of particular, the between-group analyses showed that the Total Adiponectin and HMW Adiponectin had not affected significantly greater improvements in exercise intensity. In conclusion, the current findings of this study indicate that moderate 50%-intensity working program than immoderate 85%-intensity running program may have a greater efficacy.
Key words: Total Adiponectin, HMW Adiponectin, IL-6, Leptin
