The Effect of combined exercise program on Lumbar and Femur neck bone mineral density and SOD, CAT, MDA activities in hysterectomy Women.
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of combined exercise program of hysterectomy women on BMD and SOD, CAT, MDA. The object of the study was hysterectomy women, which was divided into exercise group(N=10, year=44.9 ± 4.1), and control group(N=10, year=46.1 ± 6.1). Combined exercise program consisted of running and resistance in a bout, 3 times a week for 16 weeks. And the change of BMD and the activation of antioxidation enzyme(SOD, CAT), lipid peroxidation(MDA) have been measured before and post 16 weeks respectively. As the result of this study, Femur neck(p<.01) was increased stastistic significantly, SOD(p<.01) was increased stastistic significantly, and MDA(p<.01) was decreased statistic significantly after 16 weeks of combined exercise program. In conclusion, regular exercise program participation of long terms improve the quality of life with positive effects in BMD and MDA, SOD. Analysis of date suggested a conclusion that combined exercise program is effective to health for hysterectomy women.
Key words: combined exercise program, BMD, SOD, CAT, MDA, hysterectomy women
