Expression of αB-crystallin, HSP 27, HSP 70 and muscle damage factors in rat skeletal muscle following acute endurance exercise and recovery
ABSTRACT
This study was to investigate to the expression of αB-crystallin, HSP 27, HSP 70 and muscle damage factor by acute endurance exercise and recovery. The Male SD rat ran the treadmill running for 90min 26M/min, 10° intensity and Soleus and extensor digitorum longus muscle was extracted at 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 min in exercise period and 6H, 12H, 24H, 36H, 48H in recovery period. Expression of αB-crystallin, HSP 27, HSP 70 and muscle damage factor were analyzed by western blotting. The expression of αB-crystallin, HSP 27 was significantly increased in early phase of exercise and HSP 70 was significantly increased in recovery period. The expression of cytosolic cytochrome c were significantly increased in recovery period. These results suggests that the small HSPs may function as stabilizer of disrupted myofibrillar structure at the early stage of execise. and Delayed HSP 70 expression at the recovery period showed that the HSP 70 was involved in recovery and remodeling and adaptation processed in skeletal muscle.
Key words: oxidative stress, small HSP, delayed HSP 70 expression
